Key Management Team


Kevin Coleman, President & Chief Executive Officer

Kevin has over 23 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, materials, engineering, product development, strategic planning and general management. He has held key line management positions within multiple Fortune 100 companies including General Electric and Frigidaire. Prior to joining Latex International (LI), Kevin was the Chief Operating Officer for Evans Industries, where he initiated and led the Lean Manufacturing initiative and overall operations for 5 business units. Kevin was also the Vice President of Operations for Progress Casting Group, an $80 million manufacturer, where he spearheaded the company’s initial Lean journey and operational transformation. Under his leadership, these companies experienced 20%+ gains in productivity and 25%+ operating cost reductions by successfully applying Lean principles throughout the enterprise, including shop floor manufacturing and office administrative functions. Kevin has also served as Division Manager and in various plant leadership roles at Omega Cabinets, Frigidaire Home Products, and GE.

Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin and he also carries an AA in Energy Systems Technology.

  

  

Dave Fisher, Chief Operating Officer

Dave has over 25 years of global manufacturing leadership roles and Lean Manufacturing experience. He joined Latex International in 2009 after leading our company into our Lean transformation as a Senior Consultant with Simpler Consulting. At Latex International, Dave is responsible for worldwide operations including latex production, fabrication, customer service, and supply chain. Prior to LI, Dave was president and CEO of Crownline Boats, a $150 million leader in the recreational boating industry, as well as the President of Devtek Aerospace, a $345 million supplier of landing gear products to Boeing, Airbus, and the U.S. military. While at Devtek, Dave managed two facilities, led the division’s lean manufacturing efforts, and helped triple sales by reducing lead times and transforming customer service. He also has senior executive and Lean leadership roles in the automotive industry.

Dave earned his Bachelor’s of Science from Reading University in England.

  

  

Tomas Eisenberg, Vice President, Sales

Tom joined Latex International in January 2002. With over 18 years of sales management experience, he is responsible for leading Latex International's worldwide mattress and pillow growth. Under his leadership, LI has increased its pillow revenue by 25%+ and doubled its international mattress business. In addition to developing both the international and domestic distribution channels, Tom has been responsible for designing and building the company’s ability to manufacture and fulfill over 30 different branded pillow lines sold to major U.S. retailers. Prior to joining the Company, Tom held a variety of sales and marketing positions for 3M Corporation over nine years. His responsibilities included the development of new markets, managing existing channels and growing key National Accounts.

Tom earned his MBA from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester with Concentrations in Marketing and Competitive Strategy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ithaca College.

  

Kevin Stein, Vice President, Marketing and R&D

Kevin, who joined Latex International in April 2002, has over 20 years of senior marketing, strategy, and sales experience in the home furnishings, telecommunications, and high tech sectors. Prior to joining the company, he was the Director of Marketing for Staples Communications, a $175 million B2B technology division of the office superstore company, where he was responsible for developing and executing the company’s marketing, product, channel program and communications plans. Stein has also served as the Director of Marketing for a $500 million voice and data division at AT&T, where he led the implementation of 48 new marketing programs, bundled services and promotions leading to 30% annual growth. He has been a management consultant for Booz, Allen as well as a sales representative for IBM.

Kevin earned his MBA at The University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing at the University of Connecticut.

 
 

Joanne Osmolik, Vice President, Human Resources and Administration

Joanne joined the Latex team in January of 2005.  Joanne has held a number of positions in their Human Resource Department building their dedicated workforce into one of the strongest manufacturing teams in the industry. She came to the Company with over 20 years of experience working for other outstanding manufacturers such BIC, Remington Products, and the chemical division of Unilever. While at these organizations, Joanne held varying positions in Administration and Human Resource Management.

Joanne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Fairfield University and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management.

  

  

Steven Watson, Corporate Controller

Steve joined the company in May 2007 as their Corporate Controller. He has 10 years of manufacturing experience. Previously he was the Corporate Controller at Rossi American Hardwoods, a $100 million producer of high quality hardwoods. He also served as Accounting Manager for various product divisions in Stanley Works Inc. ranging from $150 to $350 million in sales. In both capacities he helped streamline their accounting and auditing processes through Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing. He also gained experience in Sarbanes Oxley and business reorganization while working at Stanley Works.

Steve holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Boston University. He also has an MBA with concentrations in International Business and Accounting from Central Connecticut State University.

 

Tom Sirois, Vice President, Engineering

Tom brings over 20 years of engineering and general management experience to Latex International. He joined the company in 2005 to lead the company's technology and foam processing advancements as well as process improvements. Prior to joining Latex International, Tom held various technical and operational leadership positions in the automotive and telecommunications industries. He was The Siemon Company's Operations Manager where he led a team of over 500 people across North America. Tom also was the Operations Manager for a leading automotive supplier ITW Anchor Stampings.

Tom earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Central Connecticut State University and an Associate of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Waterbury State Technical College.
